Why “Forgotten Railways in Eastern Ontario”?

Eleuthville Media is a Video Production Company owned and operated by D’von Wallace. D’von graduated from Confederation College with honours where he studied film and video production in Thunder Bay Ontario.

D’von has worked on numerous feature films, documentaries, corporate videos and short films. D’von himself has produced numerous documentaries and corporate videos. D’von is very passionate about the preservation of history and story telling.

“Forgotten Railways in Eastern Ontario” commenced out curiosity.  On D’von’s daily walks with his dog Bagheera he started thinking about his walking route and instantly became interested in the history behind the repurposement of this abandoned railway line.  D’von researched the railway line by means of online format, the local library, individuals in the community as well as his local historical society.

As D’von travelled around Eastern Ontario more and more abandoned railway lines caught his attention and his curiosity. D’von thought telling the story of the railway lines and the people that worked on them, lived near to them and depended on the railway for existence would be great to preserve for future generations.
